Age Restriction
All applicants are at least 30 years old or older. There is no such age limit for their spouse.
For other dependent such as Children are limited to under 21 and parents over 60.
Note:
1. Different age groups of the main applicant have different special condition.
2. Dependent’s visa for parent and children need to be renewed yearly (means is one year visa).
Special Condition
- 30-39 years old – Need children to study in Sarawak.
- 40-49 years old – need children to study in Sarawak or buy a property in Sarawak with at least RM600,000.
- above 50 – No special condition.
Fixed Deposit and Financial Capability
There two compulsory financial criteria need to be complied by the applicant:
Financial Capability
Applicant need to show his/ her financial capability with following evidences:
- Bank Statement for 6 months that must show minimum RM 150,000 for Single and RM 300,000 for Couple in balance of the Bank Statement during 6 months period as statement and;
- Offshore Monthly Income Evidence (such as Company Letter, Salary Payslip, Pension Certificate or statement) for 6 months.

- at least RM 7,000 per month for single applicant
- at least RM 10,000 per month for couple applicants.
* The Bank Statement must show the tally amount which must same as per shown Income Evidences.
Fixed Deposit Bank Account in Sarawak (to be done after receive approval letter)
- Applicant and dependents are required to present in Sarawak to open a Fixed Deposit Account. The amount is RM 150,000 for Single and RM 300,000 for Couple.
Letter of Good Conduct
Applicant is required to submit latest LOGC issued by the following authorities: Police Department or Security Agencies from applicants’ country of origin or domicile country; or Embassy or Consulate of the applicants’ country of origin in Malaysia or in other country.
Note:
Applicant is no longer allowed to submit LOGC issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia. Only LOGC from the ORIGIN or Residence country is acceptable.
For Applicant of China Nationality, LOGC certification procedure is as following: Original LOGC issued by Police Department or Security Agencies in China must be translated & Certified by Notary Public in China. Example of LOGC:

Duration In Malaysia
Those who obtain the Second Home Visa need to stay in Malaysia for at least the number of days indicated below:
1) West Malaysia Second Home – stay in West Malaysia for at least 90 days per year (The principal applicant below 50 years old dependents can share the staying duration to comply this requirement. For those principal applicant who aged 50 or above and dependents doesn’t need to comply this requirement)
2) Sarawak My Second Home – stay in Sarawak for at least 30 days per year (Applicant and dependents must comply this requirement)
The Immigration will approve any application for visa renewal/or visa extension based on the above conditions.
