Stage 1 Document Preparation & Submission
Applicant is required to prepare following stated documents for himself and his/ her dependents. All other documents will be prepared by us [L&H MM2H Department].
No submission fee need to be paid by the applicant and dependent but applicant has to pay security bond in advance to us because the conditional approval letter will be issued upon the payment of security bond.
Two submission ways are available (We will recommend Option B):
- Option A- You need to come Sarawak (with your dependents who you wish to include them in SMM2H) for about 1 week for the Fixed Deposit Opening (Amount RM150,000 for Single, RM 300,000 for Couple), Medical Checkup and Purchase Insurance. Our staffs will bring you to complete all the process. You also need to provide the evidence to show offshore monthly income RM 7,000 for Single or RM 10,000 for Couple.
- Option B- You no need to come Sarawak because you just show your Financial Capability i.e. Liquid assets RM150,000 for Single or RM 300,000 for couple and offshore monthly income RM 7,000 for Single or RM 10,000 for Couple. But later when obtain the approval, you still have to complete the balance process.
Note:
- Application submission for all the dependents must be at the same time with main application; no top up dependent for SMM2H
- Below documents are required for those who apply through SMM2H registered agent only.
Main Applicant:
- Certified true copies of passport personal particulars page.
- Copy of all passport’s pages
- Six (6) coloured passport sized photographs (3.5 x 5.0 cm, with blue background)
- Letter of Good Conduct (LOGC) by a government agency where the applicant currently live (if applicant has lived there several years citizen) or home country (usually the Police Department).
- Outlining employment history, academic qualification and skills/ expertise of primary applicant (or Resume/CV).
Main Applicant has two option for the documents (but we will recommend Option B)
Option A- Apply Fixed Deposit before getting SMM2H Approval
- Original Fixed Deposit Certificate from Any Bank in Sarawak. Amount RM 150,000 for Single or RM 300,000 for Couple.
- Medical Checkup Report from any approved medical center in Sarawak (For the dependents as well).
- Insurance Certificate from any insurance institutions in Sarawak (For the dependents as well).
- Certified Evidence of regular monthly income RM 7,000 for Single or RM 10,000 for Couple (most recent 6 months, and must be shown in bank statements and payslip).
Option B- Showing Financial Capability
- Certified Evidence of financial assets with amount RM 150,000 for Single or RM 300,000 for Couple.(most recent bank statements or other financial documents).
- Certified Evidence of regular monthly income RM 7,000 for Single or RM 10,000 for Couple (most recent 6 months, and must be shown in bank statements and payslip).
Spouse:
- Certified true copies of passport personal particulars page.
- Copy of all passport’s pages
- Six (6) coloured passport sized photographs (3.5 x 5.0 cm, with blue background)
- Letter of Good Conduct (LOGC) by a government agency where the applicant currently live (if applicant has lived there several years) or home country (usually the Police Department).
- Outlining employment history, academic qualification and skills/ expertise of spouse (or Resume/CV).
- Certified true copy of Marriage Certificate
Children (Unmarried & under 21 years old):
- Certified true copies of passport personal particulars page.
- Copy of all passport’s pages
- Six (6) coloured passport sized photographs (3.5 x 5.0 cm, with blue background)
- Letter of Good Conduct (LOGC) by a government agency where the applicant currently live (if applicant has lived there several years) or home country (usually the Police Department). (Not applicable for less than 18 years old)
- Certified true copy of children’s birth certificate
Parents
- Certified true copies of passport personal particulars page.
- Copy of all passport’s pages
- Six (6) coloured passport sized photographs (3.5 x 5.0 cm, with blue background)
- Letter of Good Conduct (LOGC) by a government agency where the applicant currently live (if applicant has lived there several years) or home country (usually the Police Department).
- Certified true copy of parents’ Marriage Certificate (for both father and mother in same application).
- Certified true copy of applicants Birth Certificate (for parents in same application).
Medical Examination Report
All applicants and dependents included in the application are required to submit a physical examination report (must be completed in the current country of residence)
- The examination report must include a blood report (to check for infectious diseases), a urine report (to check for drugs), and a lung X-ray (to check for tuberculosis)
- In addition to the original report that needs to be submitted, there is also a medical form (please ask our colleagues to obtain it)
Stage 2 Obtain Conditional Approval
SMM2H Agent will follow up with Immigration Unit of SMM2H Center. MM2H Agent will collect the Certificate once the Conditional Approval Certificate is issued and inform Applicant and his/ her dependents to prepare the journey to Malaysia within 6 months.
Before Arrival in Sarawak
- The first arriving to Sarawak, the applicant need to make sure he/ her and dependents are coming with normal tourist visa because they still haven’t get the final approval of MM2H visa. (Please get advise from our consultant due to the method may be different)
For Option A applicant:
- You can plan your long term stay in Malaysia with your family, but please do visa stamping when you reach Sarawak.
For Option B applicant:
- Your final approval is still pending because you still not comply the Medical Check and purchase the insurance before do visa stamping.
Stage 3 Complete the Balanced Process
During the stay in Sarawak, applicant need to complete following steps
For Option A Applicant:
Our Staff will fetch Applicant and dependents from the Airport and towards to Kuching Immigration. Please do remember Applicant need to make payment for the Visa Endorsement Fee in Immigration i.e. RM 500 per year for SMM2H, Multiple Entry Fee (depend your nationality) and JP Visa Fee (About RM500).
For Option B Applicant:
Our staffs will assist the following:
Open Fixed Deposit Account
- Applicant will need go to the bank (We will recommend the Bank if Applicant doesn’t have any preferred bank).
- We will need the Approval Letter to open the bank account. It will take few days to complete.
- Bank will issue a Bank Letter, once the needed amount deposit to the bank account,
Purchasing Medical Insurance (Not applicable for 60 years old and above)
- Applicant and dependents are required to purchase Medical Insurance in Sarawak.
- There are various medical insurance companies can offer the services.
Medical Checkup
- Applicant and dependents are need to do medical checkup and obtain medical report from any private hospital or registered clinic in Sarawak.
There are 3 important documents (Bank Letter, Medical Insurance Policy, Medical Report) from above mentioned steps will be submitted to SMM2H centre. Normally SMM2H Agent will collect them from applicant and submit on behalf of applicant.
Applicant will need to wait for few days for the final approval letter. Once receive the approval letter, our staff Our Staff will fetch Applicant and dependents from the accommodation and towards to Kuching Immigration. Please do remember Applicant need to make payment for the Visa Endorsement Fee in Immigration i.e. RM 500 per year for SMM2H, Multiple Entry Fee (depend your nationality) and JP Visa Fee (About RM500).
